Wagga Wagga is a city located in the state of New South Wales in Australia. The literal meaning of the city �Wagga Wagga� is �the place of many crows�. The word �Wagga� is taken from an aboriginal word as this tribe was the original inhabitants of the region. The first European exploration began since the 19th century and the final settlement occurred as a village in 1849. In 1870 this region got a status of a municipality and finally emerged as a city in 1946. The Wagga Wagga City Council is responsible for the administration of the city and it falls within the federal division of Rivernia. The city council has 14 councilors who are elected every four years and it is headed by the mayor.

Wagga Wagga city is located just by the Murrumbidgee River at the slopes of the Great Dividing Range. This scenic city is located near two biggest cities of Australia Sydney and Melbourne.
