As the city of Orange is located on a higher altitude thus the climate is moderate. The summers are warm and comfortable and the winters are cold. The city also experiences snowfall sometimes. The average annual rainfall in the city is around 878 millimeter.
The Orange city is located just three and a half hours away from Sydney and just three hours from Canberra. The roads which connect this city with various parts of the state are Mitchell Highway and Newell Highway. There are two railway stations in which have regular trains from Sydney and Dubbo. The regional airport of the city is also known as the Orange Airport.
Orange over the years has grown as a major tourist spot. The breathtaking beauty of the city and the gorgeous parks are its main attractions.
